Resizing that does not stretch your image
Enter a width and the height follows, so nothing is squashed by accident. The presets fit your image inside the box rather than forcing it to those exact dimensions, which is the usual reason a resized photo comes out distorted. Downscaling happens in halving steps, because a single large reduction samples too few source pixels and aliases text and fine detail.

How do I resize an image without losing quality?
Reducing dimensions always discards pixels — that is what resizing is. What you can avoid is the blur and aliasing a careless reduction adds, which is why this tool halves the image repeatedly before the final step. Keep the aspect ratio locked, avoid enlarging beyond about 150%, and save as PNG or a high-quality WebP if the result will be edited again.
Can I resize to exact dimensions like 1080×1080?
Yes. Unlock the aspect ratio with the padlock between the width and height fields, then type both numbers. With the padlock locked, changing one field updates the other so the proportions hold. The presets deliberately fit inside their box instead of forcing exact numbers, so use the fields when a spec is strict.
Can I make an image bigger?
Up to 300% with the scale slider, or any dimensions you type. Enlarging invents pixels rather than recovering them, so it softens — fine for a background or a placeholder, not for print. There is no AI upscaling here.
What size should I use for social media?
The presets cover the common ones: 1080×1080 for a square post, 1080×1920 for a story or reel, 1200×630 for a link preview or OG image, 1920×1080 for HD. Each fits your image inside those bounds with the aspect ratio intact.
Can I resize a batch of images at once?
